Client invite link to connect Google Search Console
Problem
Agencies face friction when onboarding client sites: connecting Google Search Console currently means accessing the client’s Google account or asking the client to grant the agency admin access. This extra step can prevent agencies from using Cromojo for client sites.
Proposed feature
Let an agency generate a shareable invite link for a specific client site. The client opens the link, signs in with their own Google account, and connects the appropriate Search Console property directly to that site in Cromojo. The agency does not need the client’s Google credentials or admin access to their Google account.
Expected experience
• Agency generates and copies an invite link from the client site’s integration settings.
• Client connects their own Search Console property through a guided flow.
• Agency can see whether the connection is pending, successful, or needs attention.
• The connection is scoped to the intended site and does not expose unrelated account data.
Customer feedback
Mark Salden, graphic designer, web designer and social media marketer, shared this feedback via LinkedIn. He likes having monitoring, visitor data and indexing together for his own website, but the Search Console setup friction stops him from adopting Cromojo for client sites. A simple client invite link would make onboarding easier for agencies like his.
